Winners for the first ever London Asian Food Award 2019 are revealed

Winners for the first ever London Asian Food Awards 2019 are revealed after a glamorous awards ceremony was held at the Brentford Lock Holiday Inn Hotel in London on Monday 7th October 2019.

The Award ceremony is the first of its kind and exists to recognise and reward a variety of Asian restaurants, takeaways and eateries’ across London. It recognises those who work their hardest to service the Asian food industry, which is growing and diversifying each year. The event celebrated the achievements of businesses and individuals who connect communities through food and culture. Categories included Sri Lankan Restaurant of the Year, Asian Street Food of the Year and Sushi Restaurant of the Year, reflecting London’s diversity and love for all kinds of Asian cuisine.

The London Asian Food Awards 2019 were organised by Oceanic Consulting – the UK’s leading ethnic awards company. CEO Irfan Younis said: “Congratulations to all winners and finalists of the first ever London Asian Food Awards 2019. The night was brilliant and really showed why Asian food is a massive part of the reason why London’s food scene is among the most dynamic and exciting in the world.  We’re keen to carry on the momentum from tonight and continue the campaign into future years and different cities.”

With 13 years of experience, Oceanic Consulting host annual award ceremonies in major English, Scottish and Irish cities. Campaigns include the Curry Awards, Asian Business, Asian Food, British Muslim, British Indian and Britain’s Asian Wedding Awards.
